Extreme seasonal changes make life in the Sylhet region challenging. This means it is often difficult for houses to be maintained effectively. For this reason we felt house repairs would be a good way to make a lasting difference to people's day to day lives.
Since 2018 we have repaired all the roofs on the original survey and re-built several houses.. As with all our projects work is carried out by local people using supplies which are sourced as locally as possible. This means more money going into the local economy.
Having originally started in Birahimpur (our co-founder’s home village) we are now working in neighbouring villages with Catherine based in Silam and continue to improve villagers living conditions.
