Comments from the Village people who were recipients of Seeds Of Growth help during Project 2025

stagnant water in Birahimpur from seeds of growth visit

Mrs Jamal said;

“That she was very happy to hear that the pillars were to be started to improve their house, she said she prays for Catherine and also for Ramjan, he helps to get what we need”

Mrs Ali;

“Said that she is so excited and happy to have new bamboo ceilings – especially as they will have a lot of visitors and callers over the EID period. And very happy that she can have this support from Catherine of Seeds Of Growth”

Mrs Razia Begum;

Razia has been beaming each time we workers come to check that the roof work is going OK, today was the final check and ironically when we went it was pouring rain. She said that she was happy and pleased to have a dry house at last, she had waited for nine months for help but every one she went to said no.

She also said that her elderly neighbours were very pleased that she had got help, they were also sad that that they had not been able to help her. (Last week that man said to Catherine “you buy good quality galvanise”

This woman came to us saying she had a leaky roof, when we went to see it we realised it was a completely underestimated description… she had no roof. Her bed pushed against the wall that had a bit of roof above it , the wet bedding piled in a corner.

It was a pleasure to help this woman, there was no asking for more or something different. She just let the roofer get on with his job.

A pump recipient;

Said that they are very happy and wish us a long life.

Ahmed and wife.

She said after marriage she came here and found that her husband had no toilet. She asked husband where is our toilet? , he said we have no personal toilet, we use a communal toilet. She then said, I used that l toilet for twenty years until Seeds Of Growth provided one that all the family can use.  I am so pleased that SOG said yes to my request.  (there are many relations living close by)
