About us

Having made great positive change in Birahimpur we are now planning to widen our reach.

We decided that at the end of project 2024 with most of the names on the original survey having been helped, we will stop working there and concentrate on helping other villages as we have been expanding our area gradually over the last few projects and are constantly getting more requests.

Water

For Catherine, one of the first things that surprised her was the lack of clean water, ponds in the village were evident and shared for both domestic and personal use. So it was clear very early on that pumps were very necessary.

Sanitation

Sanitation is a basic human right. Seeds Of Growth is working with villages like Birahimpur to make safe, shared facilities a reality.

Repairs

While working through the survey of Birahimpur we repaired many roofs and generally built one or two new houses in each project. The houses are usually built of bamboo and galvanise and have a short life span.

Education

While education is not a main priority for Seeds Of Growth we support and help both state and the small schools that are created and run by graduates.
